CER Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Prescot and the wider Liverpool area from September 2026.
This position would suit someone who is passionate about working with children and keen to make a meaningful contribution to their classroom experience.
Whether you already have experience supporting pupils in a school environment or are taking your first steps into education, CER can provide flexible day-to-day supply opportunities and longer-term roles to match your availability and future career aims.
Role responsibilities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them stay focused, engaged and progressing in their learning.
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities, lesson resources and the smooth running of the school day.
- Encouraging good behaviour and supporting children with classroom expectations, routines, transitions and break times.
- Providing additional support for children with SEND or individual learning needs, helping to build confidence, independence and participation.

Preferred skills
- Previous experience within education or working with children is desirable.
