CER Education are currently working alongside a Knowsley Secondary School to recruit a Teacher of Maths. Daily rate for this role ranges between £168.80 – £232.57. Pay for this role is main teacher payscale, dependent on experience with evidence of most recent payscale point. Advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay. The role will start September 2026, on either a daily, short term or long term basis and may have the potential to run for the academic year.
The successful Maths Teacher will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum up to and including KS4 and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of the children with a variety of abilities. You will be driven, passionate about your subject and have high expectations to ensure all pupils make good progress. The school has a real community atmosphere, where all staff focus on high quality teaching and all staff work together to ensure the achievements are maintained and excelled.
Qualifications
- Have experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers
- Having a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
