CER Education is working with a selection of supportive primary schools in Prescot, Liverpool and the surrounding areas to recruit primary teachers for roles starting in September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs and supply teachers who want consistent support, local school placements and the flexibility to choose work that suits their availability.
We are keen to speak with confident classroom practitioners who can motivate pupils, support progress and contribute positively to school life.
Role responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum, ensuring activities are clear, purposeful and accessible.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel supported, encouraged and able to build confidence.
- Differentiate teaching and learning activities to support pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
- Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and work collaboratively with school staff to support learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider school community such as school meetings/parents evenings/marking.
Job requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a school setting, preferably within primary education.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and child welfare.
- The right to work in the UK and suitable professional references.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.
