CER are working with a partner school for one to one Teaching Assistants for Sept 2026 based in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The school is a SEMH setting for children who have not engaged in mainstream education and who are in need of some extra help and expertise to help them achieve.

Experience within SEND / SEMH would be preferred but any experience within school or residential would be advantageous. You will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or similar or at least 1 years’ experience within this field working with children.

Requirements:

  • School or care experience working with children
  • Be able to commit to long term work
  • Be able to drive or live in the local area
  • Be able to start immediately or within a week
  • Happy to work on a temporary basis

You will get in return a very good rate of pay, a dedicated SEND team looking after you and offering you training for this and future positions. TEAM TEACH qualification and experience would be advantageous also.
