About the Role
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering lessons and supporting students' learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across your subject specialism or a range of curriculum areas
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Assessing student understanding and adapting your teaching approach where required
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to students and school staff
- Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
About You
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring or training environment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence leading groups and delivering learning activities independently
- A good understanding of the secondary curriculum
- A genuine passion for supporting young people's development
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Access to transport is desirable, although excellent public transport links are available
