US Tax - Senior Associate to join their London office, supporting a diverse portfolio of international clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review US corporate and partnership tax returns, including associated calculations.
  • Prepare complex US corporate and partnership tax returns where required.
  • Conduct technical US tax research and provide practical solutions for clients.
  • Prepare budgets and support engagement planning.
  • Liaise with clients and provide guidance throughout engagements.
  • Stay up to date with US tax legislation, technical developments, and relevant technology.
  • Develop advisory and leadership skills through client-facing work.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team.

Qualifications

  • US CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar qualification (or be working towards one).
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in US corporate and/or partnership tax compliance.
  • Experience gained within a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US corporate and partnership taxation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software (CCH Axcess preferred).
  • Private Equity Fund experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
