b Overview /b p In this role you drive profitable growth by providing value-added sales and service to Commercial/SME clients and building strong intermediary networks. You will manage an assigned SME/corporate portfolio, identify new business opportunities, and cross-sell bank products while overseeing credit proposals and risk signals. You’ll lead relationships with intermediaries, support junior staff, and ensure compliant, timely documentation. This position offers a chance to shape intermediary partnerships and portfolio performance within a global bank environment. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage and grow client and intermediary relationships /li li Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell bank products /li li Achieve revenue, asset and profitability targets /li li Manage SME and corporate portfolios /li li Prepare and review credit proposals, financial analysis and documentation /li li Conduct client visits and identify growth opportunities /li li Monitor account activity, repayments, facility documentation and credit limits /li li Identify and escalate early warning signs /li li Follow up overdue payments and support Recovery when required /li li Guide and support ARMs on routine and complex matters /li li Maintain intermediary relationships and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly /li li Ensure accurate customer records and compliance with bank procedures /li li Line manage and develop junior staff/RSOs /li li Identify and escalate process improvements /li li Support team engagement and events /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Relevant banking experience in an RM/SRM role and line management experience /li li Hold required professional qualifications and maintain CPD records /li li Comply with regulatory requirements, Individual Conduct Rules and Certification Regime /li li Demonstrate product, process, client, portfolio and regulatory knowledge /li /ul ul li Relationship management /li li Communication /li li Leadership/mentoring /li li Credit proposals and financial analysis /li li Regulatory knowledge and compliance /li li Portfolio management /li /ul
