Overview
In this permanent role, you will provide VAT advice across a broad range of matters and lead VAT due diligence projects while managing a client portfolio. You will work closely with Partners and Directors across VAT and other service lines to ensure high-quality client service and identify new business opportunities. You will oversee and coach junior team members and help grow the VAT team, while continuing to develop your own technical VAT expertise. This position offers the opportunity to shape VAT advisory delivery and contribute to regional growth in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide VAT advice across a broad range of matters, including specialist technical assignments
- Lead VAT due diligence projects and manage a portfolio of clients
- Deliver high-quality client service and manage expectations around quality, service and cost
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors across VAT and other service lines
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate additional fees from existing clients
- Support business development and go-to-market activities regionally
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
- Oversee and support junior team members in delivering a pipeline of advisory work
- Coach and develop junior practitioners and help grow the VAT team
- Continue developing technical VAT expertise and knowledge
