They are seeking a Senior Credit Manager/ Director to with them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities: Credit submissions: Lead the preparation and timely delivery of high-quality project finance credit submissions(renewables in infra), including risk analysis, cashflow assessment, due diligence, project risk ratings, downside analysis, and compliance with the banks credit policies.
Risk challenge: Provide independent risk challenge to SF Origination on new transactions, including input on deal structures, security, covenants and participation in client/bank/adviser meetings where required.
Portfolio monitoring: Independently monitor the existing project finance portfolio, including annual credit reviews, ratings, consents/waivers, legal and regulatory requirements, financial models and other systems.
Early risk identification: Identify deteriorating credits promptly and take appropriate action, including consideration for Hotspots, Watch List or transfer to Work-Out.
New markets/products: Assess new markets, products and transaction structures with SF, including participation in the New Approval Process where required.
Market expertise: Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of the Energy and Infrastructure Project Finance sectors and develop relevant external contacts.
Team development: Coach and mentor junior team members.
External/internal representation: Represent the banks at relevant sector conferences and participate in internal task forces and ad-hoc project teams.
Policies and procedures: Ensure full compliance with the banks policies and procedures, including Compliance, HR and IT requirements.
The candidate will need: Good experience in Project Finance and Credit with strong analytical skillset, ideally in Energy and/or Infrastructure segments.
Familiarity with Project Finance documentation.
