cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a .Net Developer Assistant VP to work with them on a 6-month contract.
In this role you will develop and support C#.NET applications, analyse business requirements, manage databases, perform testing and QA, maintain IT environments, support users, and follow change management procedures before production updates.
The responsibilities of .Net Developer Assistant VP will include:
- Define and manage database objects; liaise with SQL and Oracle DBAs.
- Write T-SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and business requirements.
- Support system distribution via Citrix and application servers (Web & Windows apps).
- Troubleshoot system issues, implement fixes (code/SQL), and check servers and databases.
- Follow development policies and maintain programming standards.
- Update .NET Framework and Visual .NET versions in production.
- Coordinate with development, technical, network, infrastructure teams, and Helpdesk for issue resolution.
- Assess database performance and optimize data processing loads.
- Support release management and maintain change history.
