A leading Accountancy firm based in London is seeking an Audit Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients, delivering high-quality audit and assurance services.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout audit engagements.
  • Liaise with Directors and Partners to plan and coordinate upcoming assignments.
  • Brief, supervise and support audit teams, reviewing work and providing coaching throughout engagements.
  • Review statutory and other financial statements, overseeing their preparation and timely completion.
  • Provide technical guidance to colleagues and resolve complex accounting and audit queries.
  • Support the development of junior team members through mentoring, coaching and regular feedback.
  • Contribute to the continued success and growth of our specialist Charity & Not-for-Profit team.

The candidate will need:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ideally within the charity, not-for-profit and/or education sectors.
  • A genuine interest in supporting charities and not-for-profit organisations and understanding the challenges they face.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing junior team members.
