Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities will include:
- Prepare regulatory, statutory and tax returns for FCA, PRA, BOE, EBA and HMRC.
- Produce monthly management accounts, reports and variance analysis.
- Complete reconciliations, financial statements and daily accounting duties.
- Maintain fixed assets, accruals and prepayment records.
- Support Nostro/Suspense account reconciliations and investigate issues.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and annual financial statements.
- Help implement Temenos and improve Finance processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Support projects, data analysis and new regulatory requirements.
Requires strong accounting, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate:
- Accounting qualification or working towards one.
- 2-4 years’ experience in finance, banking or audit.
- Strong IT skills, especially Advanced Excel.
- SQL or Python experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Temenos experience is desirable.
- Experience with data mapping, regulatory systems and migrations.
- Good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
