Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Salary: 40k - 50k

Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Finance, Regulatory Reporting Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare regulatory, statutory and tax returns for FCA, PRA, BOE, EBA and HMRC.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, reports and variance analysis.
  • Complete reconciliations, financial statements and daily accounting duties.
  • Maintain fixed assets, accruals and prepayment records.
  • Support Nostro/Suspense account reconciliations and investigate issues.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Help implement Temenos and improve Finance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Support projects, data analysis and new regulatory requirements.

Requires strong accounting, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate:

  • Accounting qualification or working towards one.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in finance, banking or audit.
  • Strong IT skills, especially Advanced Excel.
  • SQL or Python experience is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Temenos experience is desirable.
  • Experience with data mapping, regulatory systems and migrations.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
