Director Project Finance – Renewables

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Director to work in the Structured Finance – Renewables area to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Director will include:
- Source in the identification and development of new business opportunities.
- Controlling the pitching process, including preparation of bid packages, pitch books, pricing & profitability assessments, ratings
- Participate in the negotiation of client mandates, advisor appointments and project and finance documentation.
- Carrying out financial analysis, risk analysis and other project specific due diligence.
- Preparation of internal resource and credit application
- Liaise with other internal stakeholders, including Distribution, Agency, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Legal.
- Work closely with legal, risk management, and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiation of client mandates, advisor appointments and project and finance documentation.
- Carrying out financial analysis, risk analysis and other project specific due diligence.
- Preparation of internal resource and credit application packages.
- Maintain awareness of and comply with, relevant Bank procedures, tools and processes.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proficiency in German or French is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in project finance, with a strong focus on clean technology ie renewables
- Good familiarity of project finance structures, cash flow models and documentation
- Solid understanding of the energy and infrastructure sectors, including relevant market trends and regulatory frameworks.
- Open personality with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Proficient in MS Office package (desirable)
