Credit Administration Manager

cer Financial are working alongside a warm service led bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Credit Administration Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of a Credit Administration Manager will include:
· Check in house term sheet/facility letter documentation in a timely manner following credit approval.
· Solicit fee quotes from valuers and solicitors on panel.
· Pro-actively follow up with business the return of documentation duly signed and required committee fee.
· Coordinate the appointment of solicitors and valuers as chosen by client.
· Review valuation report.
· Follow up with solicitors to facilitate completion of the transaction and verify the required documentation are executed in order as per bank’s prevailing requirement.
· Review and assess Report on title and valuation report, identifying key risks, recommending possible mitigants.
· Carry out the disbursement processes and booking of loan limit and collateral in system.
· Liaison with Business, Operations, Credit Approval and Remedial Management as appropriate.
· Assist in the maintenance of data bases used by CAD.
· Deliver on service level agreements.
· Attend to lease consents requests involving solicitors for vetting the lease to ensure no onerous clauses.
· Attend to discharge and redemption request.
· Assist branch staff with issues relating to credit documentation and limit and collateral management.
· Participate in revaluation Project – Instructing Bank’s valuers to conduct valuation reviews on properties that are to be revalued and reviewing all reports and raising issues with relevant RM’s and CAU.
· Projects on an adhoc basis relating to the credit administration function and its improvement.
The successful Credit Administration Manager will have:
· Proven experience (5+ years) in credit administration with local banks engaging in Buy to Let (residential and commercial) & SME banking product, working capital facilities.
· Strong understanding of documentation, security perfection, regulatory and property due diligence requirements
· Experience of process and technology solutions for risk mitigation & control.
· Knowledge in Islamic lending – Commodity Murabaha and Diminishing Musharaka desirable but not essential
