cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Mortgage Advisor to work with them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide bespoke mortgage advice to affluent and high-net-worth clients, particularly from the Middle East.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, introducers, and industry professionals to generate new business.
- Manage the end-to-end mortgage process, including onboarding, credit applications, and compliance checks.
- Deliver excellent ongoing client service and relationship management.
- Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
- Work closely with private banking, credit risk, and operations teams to support efficient mortgage delivery.
- Monitor market trends, mortgage products, and competitor activity.
- Grow the mortgage portfolio through new business, cross-selling, and client engagement.
- Manage the mortgage pipeline and achieve sales and service targets.
Qualifications
- Experience providing regulated and non-regulated mortgage advice, ideally to high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of residential and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgages.
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification required; CAS status desirable.
- Degree educated or equivalent experience in banking or financial services.
- High attention to detail, risk awareness, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
