CER Education are looking to appoint a core subject tutor for an alternative provision education centre within Crosby. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Science tutor and/or Maths tutor who has experience with the curriculum at KS4.

The responsibilities will be to deliver intervention activities and tutoring with past exam papers to prepare students for their formal exams. This will require a longer term commitment until at least July 2026; however, there is a strong possibility of this position continuing into the 2026 academic year.

The school requires tutoring in small groups and 1:1 with students who have mild autism needs. It will be 5 days per week between the hours of 9am to 3pm, although there is a possibility of part-time hours also.

If you are a specialist within a particular subject area, there is flexibility to tutor multiple subject areas or your chosen area (Science or Maths).

Pay is £30-£35 per hour based on experience.
