CER Education are currently working alongside a Liverpool Secondary School to recruit a Teacher of Male PE.

The role will start in September 2025, on a full time basis and will run for 2 terms initially.

The successful PE Teacher will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum up to and including KS4 and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lesson that will meet the needs of the children with a variety of abilities. You will be driven, passionate about your subject and have high expectations to ensure all pupils make good progress. The school has a real community atmosphere, where all staff focus on high quality teaching and all staff work together to ensure the achievements are maintained and excelled.

To be considered for the position of PE teacher you must:

  • Have experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4) with an emphasis on Football and Basketball
  • Actively be involved with extra curricular sporting events and support the schools sports teams
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers
  • Having a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
