Location: St. Helens and surrounding areas - Wigan, West Lancs

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £462 to £550 (weekly) (inclusive of holiday pay)

CER Education are expanding their team of Teaching Assistants to work in Primary and Secondary Schools across St. Helens and surrounding areas. These roles are full time, part time, or flexible short term and you will be working as a 1:1 SEND support or general classroom assistant. This role will start immediately after a successful interview and onboarding process which includes references and applying for an Enhanced DBS.

What you'll need:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or experience of supporting children/young adults
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • To be able to support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one - CER can help you apply for one!
