Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of inclusive primary and secondary schools across Sheffield. As a specialist education recruitment agency, we work closely with local settings who are seeking confident and nurturing individuals to support pupils with additional needs.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of needs (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and Speech & Language needs)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Implement behaviour support strategies and promote positive learning
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Contribute to an inclusive and engaging classroom environment

- Experience supporting children or young people (school based or non school settings considered)
- A caring, resilient, and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive
