CER are looking to recruit specialist One to One support workers and tutors for long-term, full-time, and part-time positions in the surrounding area for September 2025.

You will ideally have experience working within SEMH and carrying out one-to-one support work with children of all ages.

Experience working with children with medical conditions that can affect their learning would also be advantageous.

Subject specialism is not essential, but being able to help or teach English and Maths would be essential.

Ideally, you would also have:

  • Teaching or Support Qualification
  • Car driver, as some roles are rural
  • Experience with GCSE or Functional Skills English and Maths

These roles can be remote or based within a school, either secondary or temporary, working with children who have additional needs, including communication and behaviour difficulties. More than anything, a good way of communicating and a calm, patient outlook would be ideal for this role.
