About our client school
An exciting new opportunity has opened in a secondary school located in Ickneild, Luton working exclusively with a Trust who are looking for a passionate Music Teacher. Our client school are also keen to hear from Early Career Teachers who are seeking to forge their career within Secondary Education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide support with the students individual and group learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the curriculum.
- Participate in school events, and extracurricular activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification/experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
- Previous experience teaching at a secondary level is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
