The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
CER Education are pleased to be recruiting for a Maths Teacher for a secondary school based in Flintshire. The position will be across Key Stages 3 and 4. It is a full-time opportunity and will commence February 2026 to cover a maternity leave post. The successful candidate must be fully qualified to teach within a Secondary environment; experience of teaching KS5 Maths is not essential but would be an advantage. This is a temporary role which will continue for the full academic year. Applications from experienced and newly qualified candidates are welcome.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a well-qualified Maths teacher with a record of delivering good and outstanding lessons
- Have a good understanding of what a great education can make to pupils
- Have evidence of supporting students to make beyond expected progress
- Have an excellent record of forging positive relationships with students to encourage great learning
To be considered for the position of Maths, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed professional team of Secondary teachers
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
- Have an enhanced DBS (child workforce only) on the update service or be in a position to apply for one
