CER are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team of Nursery Nurses to work temporarily within a Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fun and engaging environment. A Nursery Nurse wears many hats. They are important in creating a positive and inclusive environment that supports the overall development of the children under their care. If you have a passion for early childhood education and if you enjoy working with babies and young children, then this job would be a great fit for you.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out different support methods to encourage student learning and engagement
- Implement an inclusive environment for all students to be supported
- Supporting early learning, emotional development, and wellbeing, working closely with the class teacher
- Supporting activities that develop fine and gross motor skills
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for children. This includes supervising play areas, maintaining cleanliness, and following health and safety regulations
- Communicating with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE
- Level 2 or 3 Early years Educator (EYE)/ Childcare Qualification
- Prior experience working in a UK based Nursery is essential for this role and references will be requested
- Great communicational and organisational skills
