The school is looking for an experience SEN Teacher that has an understanding of special educational needs. Our school is designed to engage students in their education with a personalised approach and we want to welcome a dedicated SEN Teacher to supporting students from January 2025. SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities: – Supporting a class of 5-7 students – Planning, leading and teaching classroom activities – Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP’s – Working closely to keep students engaged, motivated and inspired – Working closely with Teaching Assistants so they can effectively support pupils Applications are most welcome from teachers with the following attributes; – QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualification – Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS) – Excellent Primary curriculum knowledge – Experience Teaching in SEND Settings – Willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
