We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple application and platform releases as part of a phased rollout for a major UK Public Sector programme. The role covers end‐to‐end release management across .NET services/applications and the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring releases are delivered safely, predictably, and in line with governance and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the release calendar across all environments.
- Lead release readiness reviews, Go/No-Go decisions, and deployment approvals.
- Coordinate multi‐team, multi‐system releases including applications, APIs, databases, and Power Platform solutions.
- Oversee packaging and deployment of:
- .NET applications and services
- Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as a Release Manager delivering releases across multiple systems.
- Strong experience releasing .NET applications and Azure‐hosted services.
- Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Power Platform releases.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of change management, CAB processes, and release governance.
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working within UK Public Sector or Government programmes.
- Familiarity with phased rollouts and regulated delivery environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL‐aligned change and release management practices.
