As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Cookstown.
The Role
- Develop electrical control systems from concept through to manufacture and testing, using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel.
- Electrical schematics and control system design using EPLAN.
- 2D and 3D panel design using EPLAN Pro Panel.
- Produce manufacturing drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Develop standardised designs, macros and engineering methods.
- Work directly with customers to develop technical requirements.
- Work closely with manufacturing to deliver accurate, production-ready designs.
- Support projects through manufacture, testing and commissioning.
- Resolve technical issues and drive continuous design improvement.
The Person
- Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in electrical control system or panel design.
- Experience with EPLAN, Zuken or similar.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Driven to develop technically and produce high-quality engineering work.
Experience with EPLAN Pro Panel, PLC systems, industrial machinery, engine controls or J1939 would be an advantage.
