CEO Magazine publishes Global MBA, EMBA, and Green MBA rankings, covering more than 400 programmes across 24 countries. We are looking for a Contributing Writer to join our editorial team on a freelance basis, covering business education, rankings, and the MBA market. This is a bylined role on a ranked publication with an engaged audience of prospective students, school administrators, and business education professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce two web articles per week (400–500 words each) on MBA admissions, rankings, curriculum trends, accreditation, ROI, and business education strategy.
  • Quarterly magazine features (1,000 words) and interview-based pieces (1,200–1,800 words) are commissioned separately for the right candidate.
  • Briefs are provided, and first drafts are expected within 48 hours.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience covering business, executive education, or management journalism.
  • Familiarity with the MBA landscape - AACSB, GMAC, MBA rankings - and the ability to write with editorial confidence, not just competence.
  • Strong primary source instincts and a direct, opinionated writing style.

Compensation:

  • Monthly retainer of £500-600 for the regular web brief.
  • Magazine features at £175–200 per piece.
  • Interviews at £300 per piece.
