  • Build confidence
  • Develop practical and employability skills
  • Improve literacy and numeracy through applied learning
  • See realistic career and progression pathways

Your support will play a meaningful role in strengthening both their skillset and self-belief.

  • A good standard of English and mathematics, with the ability to reinforce literacy and numeracy within sessions
  • Experience delivering or supporting employability and personal development sessions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Patience, empathy and professional boundaries
  • Confidence managing small groups and maintaining a structured environment

  • Support the delivery of construction and engineering workshops
  • Assist learners in developing safe and structured practical skills
  • Lead or support employability sessions (CV writing, interview skills, workplace expectations)
  • Provide literacy and numeracy reinforcement within practical tasks
  • Offer mentoring and pastoral support to young people
  • Help maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment

Some sessions may be delivered independently, particularly employability or skills-based workshops. The key outcome is ensuring a structured, supportive and enriching experience that builds confidence, practical skills and realistic progression pathways.
