Hours of work: Full time. Night shifts - 36 hours per week. Shifts: Our shifts run from 8 till 8.
Key Experience/Characteristics required
- Our Healthcare Assistants must have the right caring mindset and be passionate about helping people.
- You must enjoy spending time with people and building relationships.
- You must be a good listener and communicator.
- You should either hold an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or be committed to working towards this, by making the most of our free training programmes provided.
- You must live within a commutable distance to Wigan.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming during night shifts.
- Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring high-quality care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment within the care home, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members, utilizing strong English and IT skills to document care activities.
