Gillibrand Hall Nursing Home is looking for an experienced RGN or RMN Night Nurse to join our caring team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nurse with nursing home experience who is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care to elderly residents.

About the Role

As a Night Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting residents with dignity, respect, and compassion throughout the night. You will lead by example, support the care team, and ensure residents receive safe and effective care in line with their individual needs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement individualised nursing care plans
  • Deliver and supervise high standards of nursing and personal care
  • Administer and manage medications safely and accurately
  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical records
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, safeguarding, and Care Standards requirements
  • Act as a resource and mentor for the care team, supporting training and development
  • Undertake named nurse responsibilities for a group of residents
  • Participate in staff meetings, care reviews, supervisions, and appraisals
  • Maintain NMC registration and mandatory training requirements
  • Support a warm, friendly, and professional environment for residents, relatives, and colleagues

About You

  • Holds a valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
  • Has previous nursing home or elderly care experience
  • Has good knowledge of care planning and medication management
  • Is caring, patient, and professional in their approach
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Works well as part of a team and supports colleagues
  • Is reliable, organised, and committed to high standards of care
