Health & Safety Assistant

Health & Safety Assistant – Century 21 Miner Realty, Inc.

We are delighted to partner with a leading Real Estate business in Stratford, East London to appoint a Health and Safety Assistant. The salary is between £30,000 – £40,000 per annum and you will be required to be on-site 4 days per week, with 1 day from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with all Health and Safety matters across the site
• Ensure all properties across the estate are compliant and support with the implementation of safety management systems
• Escalate any non-compliance to the Head of Health and Safety and support with accident and incident investigations
• Assist with the information to help formulate Building Safety Cases and Building Certification
• Proactively manages risks and support with the requirements of the Building Safety Act
• Ensure mandatory occurrence reports are submitted to the Building Safety Regulator
• Support with coordinating and recording Health and Safety inspections, audits and checks
• Support with Health and Safety, Fire and Auditing services
• Support with the management and maintenance of all site records and queries from the Building Safety Regulator

Experience

• Excellent I.T skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A positive, can do attitude and team player
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, Fire Safety Legislation, Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Act
• Experience in the Property or Facilities Management industries or a transferable sector
