We are seeking a full-time Architect to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing change-of-use and building warrant applications, liaising with local planning authorities, producing CAD drawings, and developing architectural designs in line with project requirements. The Architect will also oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in architecture and architectural design
- Strong proficiency in architectural software and digital tools relevant to project delivery
- Sound knowledge of design principles, construction methods, building regulations, and planning requirements
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline (professional accreditation is an advantage)
- Previous experience in commercial property, building consultancy, or design-led projects is highly desirable
