We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and committed to enhancing the well-being of those they assist. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate home visits and transportation needs.

Duties- Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Supporting the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Providing companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Facilitating communication between clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery
- Assisting with light domestic tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
- Driving clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt to support accordingly
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
