We are seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated Care Assistants to support older adults and vulnerable individuals in their own homes or residential settings. You will assist with daily living, promote independence, and ensure the wellbeing and comfort of each service user. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and looking for flexible work hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe moving & handling.
- Prepare meals and support with eating and hydration.
- Administer or prompt medication as required (after training).
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate daily care notes and update support plans.
- Report any concerns promptly to the senior team.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential.
- Mandatory training (or willingness to undertake training).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
- Good communication skills and a caring attitude.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the community.
