Reporting to the Property Manager, this temporary, part‑time 6 month contract role supports the ongoing operations of the property during a period of operational transition and variable staffing availability. The role provides supplemental on‑site support, particularly for physical and time‑sensitive operational tasks, and ensures continuity of service to Residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Resident Manager and Property Manager in maintaining smooth daily operations of the property.
  • Provide on‑site coverage during periods of increased operational demand or when additional staffing support is required.
  • Complete the vacuuming of large common areas.
  • Be responsible for garbage removal and disposal.
  • Complete snow shoveling and salting as required.
  • Report building or apartment concerns promptly to the Property Manager.
  • Provide supplemental operational assistance and complete additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager when additional on‑site support is required.

Coverage and Availability

  • Provide short‑notice operational coverage as required to ensure continuity of service.
  • Assist with emergency response coverage when scheduled or directed.
  • Work flexible hours, including mornings and occasional evenings or weekends, depending on operational needs.

Requirements

  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in customer service and/or property management.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail‑oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense.
  • Strong follow‑up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances.
