We’re looking for a skilled and proactive IT Analyst to join a London-based team to play a key role in maintaining and evolving my client's IT infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a technically diverse, regulated environment with high exposure to trading systems and enterprise platforms.
As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for the management, support, and continuous improvement of IT systems, ensuring the business operates efficiently, securely, and in line with regulatory standards. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and play a critical role in supporting core trading operations and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day IT support, resolving incidents, problems, and service requests
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and onboarding processes
- Monitor and maintain systems, networks, and services to ensure availability and performance
- Support and develop Microsoft 365, Azure, and Exchange Online environments
- Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure (servers, networking, VPN connectivity)
- Support and manage trading platforms (e.g. CQG, TT, ATP)
- Design and maintain system integrations between trading platforms, business systems, and data sources
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing
- Deliver IT and infrastructure projects aligned to business needs
- Promote and enforce information security best practices and compliance standards
- Liaise with vendors, exchanges, and internal stakeholders
You’ll gain hands-on experience across a varied and modern stack, including:
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory
- Windows server and desktop environments
- Cisco networking, firewalls, VPNs, and WLAN
- Trading and market connectivity systems
- Python and scripting environments
- SQL databases and data integrations
- Business and trading platforms across front, middle, and back office
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows, Azure, Active Directory)
- Experience managing/supporting trading platforms (e.g. CQG, TT, ATP or similar)
- Experience with system integration across multiple platforms and data sources
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and database querying
- Experience with networking (Cisco, VPNs, firewall configuration)
- Scripting experience (Python, batch scripting)
- Understanding of IT security best practices
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
