Centum Engineering is a fast-growing Mechanical & Electrical Engineering company delivering high-quality solutions across Ireland and Europe. As part of our expansion, we are implementing new management systems to enhance operational excellence. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated IMS Manager to lead this transformation.
The Role
The IMS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. This role will play a key part in shaping our systems, processes, and culture as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or similar)
- Manage the rollout of new systems and processes company-wide
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification requirements
- Conduct internal audits and manage external audits and certifications
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation
- Train and support employees on IMS requirements and best practices
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with senior management to align systems with business strategy
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Champion a strong culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility
About You
- Proven experience managing Integrated Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001 preferred)
- Background in engineering, construction, or electrical sectors (desirable)
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proactive, solutions-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and lead change
