Windward House is a 42‑bed care home located in the village of South Brent, Devon. We are dedicated to providing a comfortable and supportive home for residents aged 65 and over. Our Care Assistants benefit from a full‑time position, and they work in a community where each resident’s dignity and individuality are respected. We are looking for kind and caring individuals who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of others. The Care Assistant role is essential to delivering high‑quality care and ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and truly at home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality, compassionate care that upholds dignity and respects each resident’s individuality.
Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Address within a commutable distance to South Brent (required)
- Permission to hold a Blue Light Card (to receive discounts at licensed retailers)
