We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our incredible team at Estuary View, working 4 days a week, 8am-5pm, including other weekends, with flexibility to support our other home Croft Lodge in emergencies. Estuary View is a 36 bedroom Care Home with beautiful gardens and an internal courtyard sensory garden.
Our residents have various dietary requirements, so knowledge and experience in cooking for people with special diets is incredibly important.
Salary: £13.35 weekdays, £13.85 weekends.
Cook Duties include:
- Preparing Breakfast, Lunches, Tea & Supper
- Cleaning the kitchen & keeping work areas tidy
- Managing stock rotation
- Supporting with food orders
- Interacting with residents to ensure they are eating nutritious and appetising food
It is advantageous to have training & certificates in Basic Food Hygiene. It is also advantageous to have previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter.
