We are recruiting for an experienced plant fitter for our client in Dunstable.
The working hours will be Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00 – You will be given a company van to complete the various site visits and duties in and around Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
You will be responsible for servicing and carrying out repairs on our large range of plant hire machinery (telehandlers, excavators, dumpers and rollers). You will also be responsible for ensuring the equipment is safe and fit for sale by carrying out bespoke machine inspections and identifying any defective parts or damaged components that require repairing to a high standard.
Essential
- CSCS card required for access to site
- Strong mechanical knowledge and previous experience working as a plant fitter
- Proven experience in fitting, fabrication, or a related field
- The ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in fabrication processes.
