The predicted salary is between 25000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
We are seeking an experienced Surface Mount Production Operator to join our client based in Leicester. They are an electronics manufacturing company. The working hours are 7:30 until 4pm Monday to Friday with 2 x 10 min breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. 22 days holiday plus bank holidays but we shut down at Christmas so between 3 & 5 days of the 22 are allocated to this each year. Free Parking is available on site.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Surface Mount Assembly equipment
- Operate and maintain Solder Reflow equipment
- Produce programmes for Pick & Place derived from customer supplied information
- Programme, Operate and Maintain Selective Conformal Coating equipment
- Hand placement of surface mount devices
- A.O.I inspection of PCB assemblies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills Required:
- Experience in assembly in a production based role
- Proficiency in use of computers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to equality
- Knowledge of electronic parts, Component packages, PCB Handling, ESD Best Practise and soldering skills are essential
- Ability to interpret drawings and Bill of Materials
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of IPC-A-610 standard
