The role I’m looking for is a hands‑on technical co‑founder/CTO to own the build and scale of CentricAi. The founder will own GTM, pilots, courier network, ops, and customer workflows while you focus on product engineering, architecture, and shipping the MVP into real usage.
First 90 Days
- Dispatcher console (web): job creation, live map view, assignment, exception handling, SLA tracking.
- Driver web app: accept/complete jobs, live tracking, status updates, POD (photo/signature + time/location).
- Core dispatch logic: assignment rules/scoring, SLA prioritisation, capacity handling.
- Live ETA re‑forecasting using routing signals + driver location.
- Comms hooks: customer notifications (SMS/WhatsApp/email) + internal ops alerts.
- Basic analytics: on‑time %, pickup/delivery ETA accuracy, courier performance signals.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Own architecture and delivery velocity from MVP to v1 to scale.
- Build with reliability and observability (logging, metrics, audit trail).
- Integrate mapping/routing and messaging providers.
- Establish security basics (auth, permissions, data handling).
- Work closely with the founder to translate ops realities into product decisions quickly.
Qualifications – Must‑Haves
- Strong full‑stack ability (frontend + backend + database).
- Comfortable shipping scrappy but solid MVPs quickly.
- Experience with real‑time location/tracking or event‑driven systems.
- Good product instincts: UX focus, edge cases, and operational workflows.
- Calm under pressure, direct communicator, builder mentality.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Routing/optimisation, ETA modelling, geofencing, fleet/dispatch tooling exposure.
- Map APIs (Google/Mapbox), background jobs/queues, WebSockets.
- Payments/invoicing and multi‑tenant SaaS experience.
- Familiarity with courier ops / gig workforce tooling.
Tech Direction
The stack is flexible with the emphasis on shipping the product quickly. Typical fits include Next.js/React + Node or Python + Postgres (Supabase ok) + hosted infra. We’ll choose the stack that brings us to pilots fastest.
What You Get
- Co‑founder equity (meaningful ownership; structure depends on commitment and contribution).
- Real‑world problem, real feedback loop, fast iteration (no “build for months in a cave”).
- Access to a courier network, pilot outreach, workflows, SLA reality, and sales hustle through the operator founder.
- A product with a clear wedge: predictability + control beats “fast” when customers are fed up.
