The Senior Programme and Project Manager will plan and deliver complex projects & programmes, contributing to the New Business Net Zero strategic goals.
We work in a hybrid, Flexible First way —typically spending 1–2 days a week in the office. This role requires flexibility to meet job demands, including adjusting hours to fit your needs.
The successful candidate will lead project teams and managers to coordinate efforts across activities within the programme scope, ensuring delivery within budget (up to £10m), managing interdependencies, and mitigating risks per the Change Governance Framework.
This role maintains a high-level view of the programme, ensuring progress and benefits delivery.
Key accountabilities:
- Lead multiple complex programmes and projects aligned with NBNZ strategy, developing and executing plans with technical requirements, resources, timelines, and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, addressing roadblocks and implementing contingency plans.
- Facilitate monthly programme boards with leadership for updates and decision making.
- Collaborate with tech, product, and business teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Use analytical reasoning to assess performance, identify improvements, and implement data-driven optimizations.
- Champion agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Coach stakeholders and develop team members.
