We are recruiting for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager - Retail, to lead the retail partner strategy for our HIVE ECO TECH category. In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and ensuring alignment with our overall HIVE commercial strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to make quick decisions and execute strategies to achieve key objectives.
About the Role:
- Responsible for the development and on-going management of individual retail partners to deliver against sales targets, objectives, budgets, and KPIs.
- Use analysis alongside knowledge of retail markets, customer profiles and suppliers to develop the category framework.
- Lead the weekly trade reviews and collaborate with cross functional teams ensuring that they are clear on actions and lessons learnt.
- Responsible for category range stock, planning, management, purchase orders, promotional stock planning, markdown plan, clearance, total DC and store stock levels, replenishment and ordering parameters.
- Develop and implement joint business plans for your retail partners. Have a clear plan around performance targets with regular measurement and review meetings.
- Lead the impact of inbound and outbound stock flow, the impact on supply and on retail partners and communicate issues where appropriate with SC colleagues.
- Ensure a great customer experience through expert delivery.
- Be responsible for management of 3rd party partners.
- Manage retail partnerships in Ireland and UK.
- Manage relationships with key business stakeholders and senior management ensuring sign-off on key plans, forecasts, business cases, creative and copy as needed across different partnerships.
