We're looking for five talented and experienced Senior Programme Managers to help lead the way.

You'll be working across multiple parts of Centrica - partnering with senior leaders, technology teams, and delivery partners to ensure our strategic initiatives are executed with pace, precision, and purpose.
Location: UK, Flexible
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major programmes that directly support Centrica's strategic priorities - from fixing customer issues and reducing costs, driving commercial growth, and investing to create value.
- Shape programme vision, strategy, and structure - translating high-level goals into clear delivery roadmaps, measurable KPIs, and tangible business outcomes.
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams (internal and partner-based) to deliver at scale and speed.
- Drive strong governance, financial control, and benefits realisation, ensuring every pound of investment delivers value.
- Build trusted relationships with Directors and Executives across Retail, Group, Technology, Operations, and Finance.

- Experience in programme or large-scale project delivery within a regulated, customer-centric or operationally complex industry (energy, utilities, financial services, telecoms, or similar).
- Proven success leading multi-workstream change initiatives (£5m-£20m) from initiation through to benefits realisation.
- Demonstrable experience of working within hybrid or matrix organisations - managing internal teams, third parties, and partners.
- Experience balancing technology and business change delivery, ideally in digital, customer, or operational transformation contexts.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong governance and delivery management capability - able to design and maintain control frameworks that ensure quality without stifling pace.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills - able to engage, challenge, and gain trust across senior levels.
- Commercially astute with sound financial management skills and a focus on benefits realisation.
- Confident communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills, able to translate complex information into clear messages.
- Experience applying Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, and knowing when to flex each approach.
- Skilled in using data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, RAID logs, dashboards) to drive transparency and insight-led decisions.
- Strong problem-solving mindset - able to anticipate risks, navigate ambiguity, and make informed decisions quickly.
Personal Attributes:
- Outcome-focused, pragmatic, and resilient under pressure.
- Collaborative and empowering - brings people together to solve problems rather than manage by escalation.
