About the role
- Own senior partner relationships, representing British Gas in key engagements and leading regular performance reviews.
- Drive commercial results, ensuring revenue, profitability and contracted commitments stay on track.
- Spot growth opportunities, negotiating renewals, upsells and new service extensions.
- Champion operational excellence, working across internal teams to resolve issues, improve delivery and keep SLAs and KPIs on target.
- Manage risk and compliance, ensuring contracts, governance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Act as the internal voice of the partner, providing insight to shape future propositions and strengthen long term collaboration.

What we’re looking for
- Experience in senior account management and/or strategic partnerships within a large, complex corporate organisation.
- Demonstrable senior-level gravitas, with the ability to build trust and influence at C-suite and executive level within assigned partnerships.
- Able to operate as the Voice of the Partner internally, holding the organisation to account for delivery, while acting as the Voice of the Company externally, holding partners accountable for performance beyond contractual commitments.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with strong capability in conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
- Strong experience across contract negotiation, renewals, contract management, compliance, and operational performance management.
- A proactive, collaborative working style with a clear focus on outcomes and value realisation.
- Proven experience deploying and landing contractual commitments across matrixed organisations.
- A growth mindset with strong commercial instincts, including a track record of retaining and growing multi-million-pound accounts.
