About the role
Your mission is to help customers reduce their carbon footprint by installing and maintaining smart meters, collecting real-time energy data, and explaining how to use it efficiently. You will support and educate customers while ensuring they feel comfortable with this new technology.
Skills & qualifications
- 4 GCSEs, ideally Maths & English at grade C/4 or above, or recognised equivalent.
- Passion for learning a trade and demonstration of mechanical or technical mindedness.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Availability for training at one of the four UK academies; accommodation and travel provided if required.
Benefits & salary
- Starting salary of £16,698 rising to £20,273 at week 28, £23,850 at week 35, £26,528 at week 52, and £34,176 at week 60.
- Upon completion of the full programme and after-care support (typically at week 76) salary increases to £40,133.
- On-call package and holiday package as part of the apprenticeship supports.
