Our role in Hive plays a key part in supporting the growth of our Solar, EV and ASHP partnership channel and helping deliver a greener, fairer energy future. The Commercial Analyst is responsible for partner reporting and performance insight. The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to understand performance, identify trends and recommend improvements that enhance partner and customer experience while supporting commercial outcomes. This role focuses on strong data and insight focus, supporting decision‑making, process optimisation and performance delivery across the partnership portfolio.

About the role:

  • Owning reporting and performance insight across Solar, EV and ASHP partners, including creation of central KPI dashboards
  • Working with internal teams to bring together customer insight, sales funnel performance and operational data
  • Providing ad‑hoc analysis and insight for senior stakeholders
  • Monitoring partner performance against SLAs and agreed targets
  • Tracking market and competitor trends across Solar, EV and ASHP
  • Supporting weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and trading reviews
  • Contributing to partner financial planning, forecasting and performance reviews
  • Working closely with partner management teams to review performance against forecasts
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, propositions and commercial outcomes
  • Supporting business cases and testing of new offers

What we’re looking for (min criteria):

  • Experience as an analyst with a strong, data‑driven commercial focus
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across data, sales, marketing and finance
  • Strong analytical capability, with demonstrable experience using Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to turn data, insight and research into clear recommendations
  • Comfortable influencing across teams to deliver shared goals
  • Solid understanding of forecasting and financial analysis
  • Experience in energy, smart home, retail partnerships or subscription‑based services (desirable)
