The Brand Partnerships Manager will be central to delivering Centrica’s strategic vision for brand partnerships. You’ll take ownership of our partnership rights and assets, ensuring they are fully leveraged across the business. From concept to execution, you’ll work closely with our partners to manage and deliver end-to-end activation plans across multiple channels, driving both internal engagement and external impact.
We’re looking for someone who is brand‑obsessed and passionate about the role partnerships play in building customer trust, strengthening communities, and inspiring pride among colleagues. You’ll bring sharp commercial acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and a solutions‑driven mindset. Highly organised and calm under pressure, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment, continuing to ensure partnerships are a growth engine for Centrica.
Location - Hybrid with two days a week in London and three days a week at home.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute our partnership strategy – Work with the brand partnerships team to implement Centrica’s strategic vision across all partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth priorities.
- Manage end-to-end activation – Plan, deliver and oversee activation programmes across all brand partnerships (WSL Football, Team GB, ParalympicsGB, Scottish FA, Scottish Rugby), ensuring campaigns are executed to a high standard and deliver measurable impact.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement – Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. campaigns, social, comms, legal, procurement) and external rights holders/partners and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of contractual rights and activation plans.
- Lead project management – Develop and maintain detailed project plans with clear milestones, managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of all partnership activities.
- Maximise digital and social impact – Work closely with our campaigns and social teams to create and deliver engaging digital content, competitions and matchday activations that amplify our partnerships and reach target audiences.
- Provide reporting and insight – Prepare post-event and campaign evaluation reports with insights and recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement and maximisation of ROI across all partnerships.
- Engage and inspire colleagues – Lead the planning and delivery of internal engagement initiatives, ensuring colleagues feel connected to and proud of Centrica’s partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships – Develop strong, trusted relationships with rights holders, agencies, and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and deliver exceptional outcomes.
As a brilliant and experienced Brand Partnerships Manager, you’ll bring a proven track record of:
- End-to-end partnership delivery – managing the full lifecycle of brand partnership activations, from planning and briefing through to execution, measurement, and evaluation, ensuring campaigns deliver against KPIs and ROI targets.
- Stakeholder management – building and maintaining outstanding relationships with rights holders, agency partners and internal stakeholders, securing senior approvals and ensuring collaboration across teams and channels.
- Project & budget management – leading project planning, timelines, budgets, and reporting, using project management tools effectively to deliver on time and on budget.
- Insight & optimisation – assessing campaign performance, using data and insights to optimise activity and feeding learnings into future plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Communication & presentation – producing and delivering high-quality presentations and reports (PowerPoint, Excel) with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Organisation & resilience – managing multiple projects to tight deadlines, prioritising effectively, and responding calmly and proactively to unforeseen challenges.
- Passion & collaboration – being a hands‑on team player, with a flexible, professional approach and a genuine enthusiasm for sport, entertainment and cultural moments to deliver work to the highest standard.
- Mobility & commitment – willingness to travel (e.g. London, Windsor and Scotland) and engage fully in activations, representing Centrica with professionalism and pride.
