Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and repair Air Source Heat Pumps and associated heating controls.
- Work in line with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations, manufacturer guidance, and company processes.
- Deliver a high‑quality, professional experience in occupied residential properties.
- Effectively manage your own workload, appointments, and productivity.
- Complete job records, reports, and parts requests accurately using company systems.
- Act as a professional ambassador for PH Jones at all times.
- Proactively identify system improvements, additional works or safety issues.
- Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota when required.

About You
You’re a skilled, customer‑focused engineer who can work independently and confidently in residential environments.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience servicing and repairing Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Strong understanding of low‑temperature heating systems and controls.
- Electrical fault‑finding skills relevant to heating systems.
- Experience working in occupied domestic properties.
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet productivity targets.
- Knowledge of domestic renewable heating regulations.
- Strong customer service mindset in a field‑based role.
- Awareness of health, safety and compliance requirements.
- MCS awareness.
- Experience with control systems including weather compensation, zoning and hybrid systems.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Level 3 Heat Pump qualification (or equivalent).
- Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3).
- F‑Gas certification – desirable.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – desirable.
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) – desirable.
- Minimum 2 years’ post‑qualification experience.
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- Right to work in the UK.
